We have some exciting news to share! As part of our ongoing commitment to superior cleanliness and quality, we’ve earned the TRSA Hygienically Clean Certification. This certification provides a quantified and validated standard of measurement utilizing microbial testing to ensure that all product meets TRSA standards for hygienically clean textiles, linens, and uniforms.
While our previous certification covered only healthcare products, we are happy to announce that we have also committed to providing TRSA Hygienically Clean Standards for our food and beverage products as well. It is our hope that this will assist our customers in assuring their patrons that health and safety are a top priority as dine-in services begin being permitted to re-open statewide.
So, what exactly does this certification mean? We’re glad you asked! In order to obtain the TRSA Hygienically Clean Certification, a facility must initially pass three rounds of outcome-based microbial testing. Quarterly microbial testing, to ensure consistent laundry quality and diminished levels of yeast, mold, and harmful bacteria, must be adhered to in order to remain certified. At Balfurd we are committed to both meeting and exceeding these standards by implementing more aggressive routine microbial testing than is required to maintain the certification.
As always, we’re committed to bringing you the best product in the industry with service to match!
